Kathy is the owner of Rocky Mountain Therapy. She opened Rocky Mountain Therapy , an Outpatient Rehabilitation Center in May of 2003. Kathy had opened and sold two Functional Testing Centers in Casper and Gillette. Kathy is a 1999 graduate of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota/CC. She also received her AAS in Agri-Business from Casper College 1989. Kathy is a Certified Lymphedema therapist, a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist, trained in Matheson's Functional Capacity Evaluations and a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. She also has specialized training in employment testing (Worksteps). She has advanced training in Myofascial Release and in Neuro-lFRAH treatment technique for Stroke and TBI rehab. Kathy's hobbies include: hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, traveling, cross country and downhill skiing.
Dawn Cardinal was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. She received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in May of 2006 from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She also has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in May of 1992 from the University of Wyoming. Dawn enjoys working with a wide range of diagnoses such as orthopedic, stroke, Parkinson's, children with sensory integration dysfunction, ADHD and Autism. Since graduating she has taken numerous continuing education courses in myofascial release, Autism/ADHD, sensory integration dysfunction and orthopedic course specializes in the shoulder. She has received specialized training in Neuro-lFRAH techniques for stroke and TBI rehab. Dawn is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP). Dawn is also an adjunct professor teaching a pediatric class for the Masters program from the University of North Dakota/Casper College.
Dawn enjoys hunting, horseback riding and spending time outdoors. Dawn has been a team member at Rocky Mountain Therapy since 2006.
Amanda Grant graduated from Casper College with an associates in Biology then attended the University of Wyoming and the University of Oregon to obtain her Bachelors in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Biology. She returned to Casper and attended Casper College to receive her Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree in 2005. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities including ICU, acute care, transitional care and intensive rehab. She has specialized training in pediatrics, Neuro-lFRAH techniques, MFR (myofascial release), pool therapy, spinal cord injuries, MLD, and orthopedics. She is also certified in Energy Tai Chi for Parkinson's. Amanda has been in Casper for 35 years and is a native of Wyoming. Her hobbies include: spending time with her family, golfing, fishing, cross country skiing, reading, shooting and ice fishing. She has been with Rocky Mountain Therapy team since 2009.
Chad Henry graduated from Casper College in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. He began working in the school district in the field of early childhood development before moving onto his current position in outpatient therapy rehabilitation. His areas of specialty include: Manual therapy, Myofascial release, Aquatic therapy, Orthopedic rehab, and Neuro-lFRAH techniques for Stroke and TBI. Chad has been a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist for over 10 years. The driving program implements the use of an adaptive vehicle for safety while training or testing individual's safety and capabilities behind the wheel. Chad's hobbies are playing sports such as volleyball, soft ball and is an outdoor enthusiast. Chad joined our team at Rocky Mountain Therapy in 2004.
Jerri Baxter has lived in Casper since 1976. She graduated from Kelly Walsh in 1986 and attended Casper College. She graduated with an Associates of Science in OTA and Associate of Science in General Studies in 2000. Jerri has sat on several boards the Wyoming Association for Persons in Community Employment and Wyoming Independent Living. Jerri is the leader of the Parkinson's Support Group, the Parkinson's Exercise Group and a Caregiver Support Group all at Rocky Mountain Therapy. Jerri has advanced training in Myofascial release, Manual Lymph Drainage, Manual therapy of the upper extremity, Wilbarger Deep Pressure and Proprioceptive Technique, Neuro- IFRAH techniques, Assistive Technology, Kinesio Taping, Parkinson's disease and is Certified to teach Tai Chi for arthritis and energy. When she is not working or running groups, Jerri enjoys scrapbooking, card making and sewing. Jerri became a member of the Rocky Mountain Therapy team in 2003.
Trisha Woods received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary in 1999. She has 16 years of experience in the outpatient rehabilitation setting. Trisha as received extensive training in the Neuro-lFRAH approach for the treatment and management of adults with hemiplegia from a stroke and/or brain injury. She has also received trainings in vestibular and balance rehabilitation and has taken several advanced courses in manual therapies including myofascial release and muscle energy techniques. Trisha also has extensive training in pediatrics. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and playing hand bells in the choir. Trisha was one of the first original team members of Rocky Mountain Therapy since it's opening in 2003.
Valorie Baule graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Central Wyoming College in 1997. Valorie has worked in a variety of settings including acute rehab, long-term care facilities, home health, and outpatient rehabilitation. Her areas of specialty include: manual therapies, balance/vestibular and coordination rehab, aquatic therapy, as well as stroke and brain injury rehabilita.tion utilizing the Neuro-lFRAH techniques. Valorie continues to take many continuing education courses in manual therapies. Her hobbies include: scuba diving, camping and motor cycle riding.
